Ekaladerhan (Izoduwa)
Ughoton called Gwato by Europeans is HOLLOWED. It is ARUOKUN. ARU’OKUN means spiritual performing theater of the Waters or Oceans - OKUN is one among Ih?n (divine or transcendental ancestors), incubator of all living things. Every living thing on earth has its ancestry in the waters or oceans of the earth. Their seeds of primordial ancestors incubated therein before they were born and subsequently migrated to populate the earth.
This Ekaladerhan zone revolves about prince Ekaladerhan who created a community that will later be known as Ughoton. He decreed the community into existence. The name Ughoton is a corruption of the name Udeton. This name is given after His diviner and army made up of just one bird called UDETON.   The bird would warn Him whenever enemies were approaching His town. The bird would attack and destroy the enemies on arrival; this it did successfully every time.
Ughoton is the Holy Land of Idu Race or of all Africans south of the Sahara. It is the Holy Land for all Africans in the Diaspora, as well as humankind that came out of OKUN — children of Okun.
Ughoton is recognized by all as the town of middle passage for the souls of the dead. The souls of the dead pass through Okenanubode into the river called eze n’ emimikpo. The row in a canoe on the river until they reach the realm of the world of the dead. Relatives and friends of the departed hold vigil and perform rituals and rites aimed at sustaining the soul, lest it trips. The Ekaladerhan zone is otherwise noted for many paranormal events. This includes sighting of aliens (extraterrestrial
beings).

Point Of ContactEuropeans
Ughoton is the location of contact between earliest European explorers and the Benins. They named the adjacent costal line of Atlantic Ocean the Bight of Benin. Ancient Dutch map drawn on animal skin shows West Africa as Benin.
One point seldom mentioned in history lessons of slave trade is that the first slaves to leave West Africa left via Gwato; they were gifts of human cartage to help the Portuguese offload their gifts from Benin Kingdom at their destination.  These were called carriers in local parlance. This contact led eventually to colonialism and Transatlantic Slave Trade. Colonialism was through the enslavement of our minds and souls. We have political freedom from colonialism. Our souls and spirits are yet to gain spiritual freedom. We were once slave owners, now we are slaves to adherents of alien religions!
